New Hampshire Backyard Wedding

covid weddings

When Covid put a damper on Amanda and Eric’s wedding, they quickly decided a New Hampshire backyard wedding was the way to go! Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the couple tied the knot right at home. They decorated their yard beautifully. Decor included twinkle lights, lanterns, pumpkins, and beautiful florals. Light pastels accented with burgundy was perfect for the fall backdrop.

The Backyard Wedding Ceremony

When you have a backyard as beautiful as this, getting married there just makes sense! The cross back chairs added to the rustic glam feel of the wedding day. Amanda and Eric exchanged vows surrounded by beautiful fall foliage.

A Quick Getaway

Sunset was quickly approaching, so we made a quick getaway to get some newlywed photos before losing light. We drove around town to two different locations to get gorgeous images! Being from Southern Massachusetts, we hadn’t hit peak foliage yet. Thankfully, just over the border in New Hampshire the color was in full force. We had a great time running around, dancing in the street, and running through thistles!

A Tented New Hampshire Backyard Wedding Reception

Firstly, his was the first time I had ever seen a clear top tent. IT WAS AMAZING! Second, the tent was accented with greenery, string lights, and a GORGEOUS iron chandelier. The tent was nothing short of perfection. In addition, the tables capes were beautiful, complete with chargers and menus.

Jess and Starr from Turning Music Into Memories kept the dance floor full all night. City Moose Cafe kept bellies full! Overall it was a beautiful wedding.

2020 has been crazy!

We all know 2020 has been a whirlwind for couples planning weddings. I have to say, watching couples like Amanda and Eric be so flexible and let there big day go on has been amazing. Just because you have a few less guests, doesn’t’t make the wedding day any less special! I encourage every couple to consider scaling down and keeping their original wedding date. These backyard bashes can be truly incredible!
